Tulale (Panay Bukidnon)

 

The leaf wrapped around the hole at the blowing end of the flute has deteriorated already.

 

Name: Tulale

Classification: Ring flute with finger holes and open end.

Description:  A leaf was used as a ring around the small hole at the blowing end of the flute.  There are four holes on top surface and a hole underneath.

Material: bamboo (flute), leaf (ring)

Ethnolinguistic Group: Panay Bukidnon

Place: Calinog, Iloilo

Date Collected: 1997
