Name:  Bungkau

Classification:  Jaw’s harp

Description:  A thin strip of bamboo with a tongue carved at the center.  The instrument is attached to a bamboo container.  It is played by putting it against the mouth and striking the end of the instrument causing the tongue to vibrate.

Materials:  bamboo

Ethnolinguistic Group:  Kadazan-Dusun
