Ullibao (Kalingga)

Name: Ullibao

Classification: Jaw’s harp

Description:  The top skin of a node of bamboo with a thin tongue carved out of the center. There are incised designs on the body of the instrument.  It is played by putting the center of the instrument at the opening of the mouth and with the other hand striking the end of the instrument to produce a vibrating sound. The ullibao is played for recreation.
