Classification:  2 stringed bowed fiddle

Description:  Two strings run the length of the neck and the body.  The strings are fastened to tuning pegs and are stretched along the length of the instrument by a bridge and fastened to the body. Incised designs decorate the instrument.

Materials:  wood, horse hair

Ethnolinguistic Group:  Lao

Place:  Luang Prabang, Laos
